Leadership Assessment
What this service is
Leadership Assessment is a focused evaluation used when the question is no longer whether to act — but who should carry the next phase.
It applies to a specific individual:
an internal leader, a recent hire, or a candidate under serious consideration.
It does not judge performance in isolation.
It assesses whether the person can realistically carry what the role will demand as the company scales.
The assessment is led by senior clinical psychologists with experience across organisational levels and growth phases.
Why founders use it
As scale-ups grow, roles change faster than people do.
Someone who was right six months ago may now be operating at the edge of their capacity — without clear failure yet. At the same time, the cost of being wrong increases under GTM pressure and investor scrutiny.
The risk here is not underperformance.
The risk is overestimating future capacity.
What problem it solves
Leadership Assessment answers one question:
Can this person realistically carry the next phase of the role — not just today’s version of it?
To answer that, we assess:
- the gap between current responsibilities and what’s coming next
- how pressure and decision load increase
- where adaptation holds — and where it doesn’t
- whether support would change the outcome
The outcome is not a score or profile.
It is a clear judgement founders can act on.
How the work is done
The assessment combines:
- in-depth conversations
- role-specific scenarios
- evaluation of decision-making under pressure
The process is tailored to the role and context.
Its duration reflects the importance of the decision.
Accuracy matters more than speed.

When this service is typically used
- Before promoting someone into a larger role
- When a key leader is stretched but still delivering
- When doubts exist but proof hasn’t surfaced
- When investor or board confidence depends on leadership depth
This is not an HR exercise.
You remain the decision-maker.
What you get
Founders gain:
- clarity on whether this person can grow into the role
- a realistic view of what support would change — or not
- reduced risk of backing the wrong leader
- confidence to commit or correct course
Sometimes the answer is yes, with conditions.
Sometimes it’s not in this role.
Both prevent damage later.
How this fits with our other services
Leadership Assessment often follows Leadership Stress Testing.
If the capability cannot be built in time, it leads into Exclusive Leadership Hiring.
If the person is right, it ends here.
That outcome is intentional.
Scaling with no room for error?
Make the decision count.
